I think I'm passing on this too. I was playing free for all today on the asylum map and people were glitching (floating over buildings and shit like that). I really wish they would fixed these glitches or give full refunds to the unsatisied masses.

The elevator glitches are an advantage, make the most of them! It's a hell of a lot easier to shoot someone in the open sky with no cover than on the ground sniping from a bush.

The only real use the elevator glitch would have is if the player didn't shoot anyone (less likely to be noticed then) and acted as just a spotter for team mates.

I hope they never fix the elevator glitches, they're easy kills, I wish more players would use them! lol

I'm absolutely amazed that these glitches still are in the game. The game has been out for months and we are still dealing with these things. That's why World at War is at the bottom of my draw...and now that I think about it I'm probably not going to play it anymore with new games coming out so World at War is going on the chopping block with about 2 other games that I don't play.

Good Luck with it guys....I'll see you when your on COD4.

What about the extra maps in cod4, broadcast, chinatown, etc. they were awful, nobody liked playing them. I'm amazed most of you prefer cod4 to codwaw.

way less camping, way better guns, no fricking tanks, boards that aren't 12 miles long, there is sunlight so you can actually see people, whats not to like? i like the new boards, even though i only like creek for defending s&d, and i dont play killhouse enough so i dont really have an opinion of that one. cod4 is all around way better than waw. ill give you waw has keifer southerland.

Jessica..IMO the problem isnt the actual maps...Even though I do not like World at War multiplayer, I will be one of the first ones to say that I think the WaW maps are better than COD4, and what I mean by better I mean the graphics and details of them...not playing them...too big and too many campers. The problem is all the bullshit glitching, floating, players under the map, crap (LOL that rhymes) not to mention the connection issues...this is a good or rather FUN game with all those issues?? If it wasnt for the single player (which I think is great) and Zombies I would of dumped this game months ago.

Oh and BTW....Broadcast IMO is one of the best maps in COD4, one of my favorites, especially playing Search & Destroy.

I can't wait until Modern Warfare 2 to see what those maps are going to be like.

yeah i sure hope infinity ward doesnt mess up modern warfare 2 with putting tanks and or making the maps huge. one thing is for sure cod4 is the best game i have ever played and i still enjoy it more than any other game out right now so i want the exact type game for modern warfare 2 but just a few additions nothing drastic. and if they kept coming out with map packs for cod4 id buy every single one every time and continue playing it for 2 more years without getting tired of it

DITTO DITTO DITTO to everything Fridge, Luis and Don have said when i played WAW i would get killed and watch the killcam and the guy would be sitting right in front of my sight but its so dark i can't see them, and there way too many campers, i also don't like the amount of time it takes to plant a betty and then how hard they are to spot.

I too would be happy to keep buying map packs etc.

I would like the stats thing on the cod website to be included on the new game and just more of the same from CoD4!!!

It is somewhat the lighting and somewhat the general grey tones and the outfits that the player wear. you have to admit, COD4 is especially bright, especially fast, and has little cover with many choke points. Actually, for COD4, I really like the expansion pack. I enjoy the maps. My least favorite are Wetworks, Showdown and Countdown. Some of my favorites are Chinatown, Creek for sniping, Broadcast, Crash, etc.

Map design, graphics and cover are better in W@W. Tightness of weapons COD4 (they are modern). The tanks can be frustrating, but add a new element to the game. Working together they can be taken out without too much fuss, unless they camp the spawn. I've got the COD4 bug again. It is a great game, but honestly, without having all of you friends to play with, I would have an easier time moving on. Don't underestimate the impact of our comradery.

COD6 will have to be awesome for me to pick it up. COD4 will still have replay value, so they have to convince me to put it down.

InfinityWard+2 Years=Magic

I like that equation, no need to rationalize or anything, just straight fact. Hopefully there will be a beta for the PS3 around June,July. This is just my speculation and I made it up completely, did not pull that info from anywhere.

If the under the map, over the map glitches could be fixed, I would play it more. I love the graphics and the map sizes didn't bother me to much. I actually think playing World at War improved my COD4 game. I'm not 100% sure why this is but it's probably a mixture of a lot of different elements. If I see a group playing, I'll play a few games with you but you will mostly find me playing COD4, until Battlefield 1943 comes out in a couple of months.

Well, I was going to stay out of this one, but since everyone else has spoken their mind on the subject, in a decent an civil way I might add (part of the beauty of this group) now it's my turn. I will most likely be getting any DLC for this game because I like it. Yes it has issues but in the year we have been together, EVERY game we have tried has had issues in one form or another. The glitches that still exist can be used against those players, there is no cover in the sky. As for not seeing the opposition, I now look more for motion than a target, track that motion and kill. COD4 is what brought us all together, but as I recall, it has some major issues as well, I don't hear anyone bitching about those anymore, you learned to work around them.

I do not play these games to gain fame or glory, we all know I'm not that good. Very Happy I play these games to unwind and have some fun. I continue to play W@W because I like the challenges it has and the people I have met playing are just plain fun to spend time with and that's the real reason I will continue to play it. My only real issue with the game is the connection issues from the PtoP server set up but I had those in COD4 , and those never got worked out either.

"And that's all I got to say about that."

I liked the new maps. Creek is great on HC TDM with the silent Skorpion. Variety is good and I would've killed for another map pack. Warhawk does that... instead of releasing a new game, they do new map packs and updates every 6-9 months.

So basically the reasons you guys all prefer cod4 to waw is because it's easier!

COD4 = Easier to see enemies, no betty's to watch out for, no cover for campers, no tactics needed because the maps are condensed, less variety in weapons (making choice less important), etc.

I'm amazed, these sounds like the comments I'd expect from a noob. lol!

LOL! COD4 IMO is harder than W@W. IDK why, but whenever I jump from COD4 to W@W, I am always a much better player. Another reason why COD4 is more fun is simply that more people play it. I would rather be in a stable game with a bunch of my friends than alone or with one or two.

IDK, once KZ2 comes out, I am not sure how much I'll be on either of the games. I really hope that the game is as good as it looks.

I think you're better at waw after cod4 because you're used to moving faster, and running around like a headless chicken makes a tough target ;-)

Hardly any of my friends play cod4 now, so I have the opposite effect. Most nights I can get 5-9 friends to join me for waw easily, and often I have to team up with others to accomodate friends who keep inviting me into games.

The only problem with waw seems to be the lag and server connection issues, but even with them I prefer waw.

I hope KZ2 is good too. Fingers crossed, we'll see ;-)
