| NEW KILLSTREAK REWARDS --- The Multiplayer Mode of COD _ WaW
IN WWII there were no F15's or Cobra Helicopters so you can't call those in, but with your killstreaks you will receive the following:
3 Killstreak - Recon Plane - You will deploy a recon plane which will display bad guy locations on your radar screen ( same as UAV)
5 Killsteak - Artillery Stike - You will have to select a strike zone and seconds later artillery shells will destroy the area you selected.
7 Killstreak - ATTACK DOGS - After killing 7 enemies you will be able to deploy attack dogs. These dogs will chase down and kill the enemy team. The dogs will seek out any hiding enemies so you will be able to follow the dogs and surprise the shit out of them ( THAT SOUNDS AWESOME)
I read an article in GamePro magazine which has an 4 page story on the new COD and this is where I found the above information.
You will also be able to drive a tank in multiplayer mode. The new COD WaW multiplayer keeps almost every perk that COD4 has, but they have added a few new ones more.
THAT WILL BE MY NEXT POST......THE NEW PERKS

| Listen I know that alot of you are hating the idea of going back to a WWII game but, I've read a few articles and most of them are saying that the new COD WaW multiplayer mode will be pulling alot of people away from COD4 multiplayer. SO IT MAY NOT BE AS BAD AS WE THINK !!!!! ONLY TIME AND THE GAME WILL TELL. | |

| NEW PERKS FOR COD - WaW Multiplayer Like I said above most of the COD4 perks are still available to you, minus Claymores, C4 and other "MODERN WARFARE" weapons but they seemed to have replaced them with the WWII counterpart..... First you will still be able to outfit your weapons with sights. No red dot or ACOG but you will have the ability to pick from aperture sights, telescopic sights and sniper scopes. You will still have silencers or the should really be called suppressors, also you will be able to select a "Flash Hider" this will be able to reduce your weapons muzzle flash. SOME NEW PERKS :: 1) Flak Jacket - equip this and you can survive close range blast from a grenade - KISS MARTYDOM USERS GOODBYE. 2) SHADES - use these and you will not be effected by a flashbang or what they will be called in the game Flares. 3) GAS MASK - you wear the gas mask and it protects you from the NEW GRENADE in the game, a nerve gas grenade that you can use..COOL. 4) SECOND CHANCE - same as last stand **BUT** listen to this, if another teammate has "second chance" on they can revive you, you won't die. **AWESOME** 5) FIREPROOF - protect you from Flamethowers and Molotov Cocktails. 6) BOUNCING BETTY - WaW version of the Claymore - They are planted when triggered they will "bounce" in the air and kill everyperson around them 7) Satchel Charge - WaW's C4 DEXTERITY - same as Slight of Hand - but it will also quicken your prep-time that you plant your Bouncing Betty or Molotov Cocktail. 9) There are also 4 new perks that are used for and improving the performance of the NEW Tank feature. I'm not going to list them. | |

| I read that article last night and COD WaW looks very promising. I'm going to pre-order and start playing the beta version early. I just don't know the date the beta is coming out. One of the last things the article said was this would be the last WW2 game and they saved the best for last. We will see. | |

| I can feel the tone of our discussions regarding WaW changing. At first I didn't like the idea of revisiting WWII. This footage is great though. Each time more information or new video is released, I'm more and more impressed.
One way or another, I plan to check this out for myself.

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG-0eNIMmWwGUYS, 5 minute video of World at War Multiplayer - Team Deathmatch Wait to you see the size of the map this guy is playing on. Also you get to see all the "Killstreak" perks. LOL....you get to see the attack dogs. The gameplay and smoothness of the game looks just as good as Modern Warfare. This is going to be great !!!!!! Watch the part when the players gets killed and when he respawns take a look at his perks. First of all it looks like you get 4 perks in this multiplayer, not 3 like COD4. Special Grenades, Gas Mask, Steady Aim and his last one is called "Water Cooler" I wonder if that has anything to do with the new driving the tank mode that you will be able to do in multiplayer.....COOL STUFF | |

| Yes, you are right, very cool. I suspect that "water cooler" may be used to keep your weapon functioning longer as that era weaponry used to use water cooling around the barrels so they wouldn't overheat as quickly but I'll wait to find out with the rest of you.
Also, in the last 2 parts of that video (this is for us "24" fans) I believe that was the voice of Keifer Sutherland calling recon planes, arty strikes, and dog releases. That just makes it that much cooler for me, that man's voice overs can't be cheap.

| im definitely getting it. i hope the maps arent TOO big, i dont want to be running the whole time just to be gunned down mid sprint. i will disagree about the voice on it, i thought it was kind of annoying. but overall this looks like a must have especially if its the same engine. | |

Fridge what are you talking about the man's voice itself (because that is definately Keifer Sutherland and I think that is friggin awesome) or just what they are saying when they call in your killstreak bonuses. Because I thought that it was alittle annoying also, they are saying too much. "We will hunt them down where they are hiding" or something like that. You know what would of been cool, when you get you 7 kill streak and get the attack dogs the should yell out "RELEASE THE HOUNDS !!!" LOL... I'm a FN' idiot !!!!!

If you guys fancy, we can play Hardcore headquarters now if you want. Lets all get together in a private match and give a whirl, should be very interesting. And play it on either Crossfire or Bog, those 2 maps just jumped into my head cause the are so friggin annoying to play HQ on.
