COD Modern Warfare Remastered digital download

PS4 PSN digital download of Call of Duty Modern Warefare is now available. Unfortunately, it is $39.99.  Is it just nostalgia?  Why do I want it? I mean it was a fantastic game. It ushered high production value FPS into (at the time) next gen console gaming. It was sleek, responsive, addictive, and gorgeous. But really, it came down to gameplay and teammates. Games were as good as the teammates you played with. And we had quite the crew. We certainly didn't win them all, but we laugh hard and often (albeit in between expletives).  I fear what we had, then, can never be recreated. It was a special moment in time. Our lives have marched on, and we have scattered to the wind.  That said, let me know if anyone is going to pick it up for old time sake.

The memories were good but I have lost my desire to play shooters. Not like I was ever that good, but age seems to have slowed me down too much to enjoy them. I did think about it, but then logic took over
