| Last night into the early morning of Saturday STP did something that we havnt done in a long time. Played together as a clan. It started with a little private match rumble between myself and Martin then turned into a Good Ol' Days Hardcore Search and Destroy mini marathon with myself, Martin, Fridge and JP. We would of had five original STP members because FRESH52 was on and playing MW2 but didnt make it to the party.
Yup your reading it correctly JP....we picked up 2 guys from the RAW clan (which BTW is Skcits' new clan) and kicked ass for about 3 or so hours. Then as JP left and I was just getting ready to get off and go to bed another surprise showed up, Meatpistol. So myself, Martin, Fridge and Meatpistol continued for a little while longer.
It was a GREAT time last night and brought back the great times we had in the past.....I'm hoping the release of MW3 will bring back more of the nights we had last night cause we had alot of fun. We won and more importantly (even though we couldnt hear Marty) headsets were on, we laughed and had a great time.

| Haha it was a great night and even kept me up until after 6am lol
I hope this happens ALOT more now and with MW3. I play a lot with the guys from RAW but never the same as with the orignal STP. Me and Click even tried to play CoD4 but for some reason i got the old "Game Settings" screen and got no further. so went and had a laugh and sniping contest with Don. Followed by 4 hours of total domination (inc a few full clans - 1 of which 4 of STP and 2 RAW players beat them 12-0 over three SnD matches).
Hope to do it again soon!!

| Well, I screwed things up last night. Sorry, Martin. Turns out Marty can't get online with Modern Warfare (one), but I don't own MW2 (I've since ordered a used copy for $20).
Though it was nice to get a few games in on the original (with DonMat) before my wife called me away to help save a local charity event. The DJ they hired instead of me was a little late. And by little, I mean two hours. When I got there, they were using a bull horn to make announcements to a crowd of almost 400. I shouldn't have any problem booking them for their event next year.

| Yup it was a shame i couldn't get on, so this is one for our researchers why can't i play CoD4 anymore!! i get to the usual "Getting Game Settings" then thats it i get stuck on that page. I've tried all the usual tricks, uninstall the game data. Restart the router, log out while on that screen then back in. If anyone can help it would be a massive help, could it be because of the patch 1.40 as i played on CoD4 not that long ago.

Some have also blamed the router. One suggested solution was putting your router in DMZ mode (another, making sure all ports are open). Many claim reseting your router will do it.
http://adamcook.wordpress.com/2008/04/04/how-to-get-flawless-online-gaming-with-your-ps3/ Yup i've played it once since getting my new PS3, i've already got my router in a DMZ and i tried all the restarts etc. This sucks lol (I kicked ass last time i was on lol)

| Yeah, I played a bit more today (10-2 on Ambush) and, amazingly, after five four years, HCS&D still has team killers.
No idea, Martin. Usually you search for things that have changed. Now that I think about it, didn't you just get a super-awesome new internet connection? Otherwise, maybe you're just wanked.
My copy of MW2 should be here in a day or two. You can school me on that anyday.

| The good old days!!! I'm glad you guys got together and played. I actually got on this past weekend and hooked up with clickhappy. Monday nights look like they are going to open up for me and Sundays should as well. I'm still playing COD4 trying to get that third gold cross! Maybe we could set up a time and all try to make it! Vince, I'm not using my copy of MW2 so if you want to borrow it for a while, I'll get it to you. BTW, Happy Birthday Serum! | |

| Add me in for Monday nights. Don't care which, as long as it's not World at War.
Played some MW2 and had forgotten just how almost broken the multi player is with One Man Army and the spawn tubing. Also, was maddening trying to remember the buttons on COD4...I may or may not have accidentally killed two teammates by beaning them with a smoke grenade when I meant to plant a claymore.

I'll be on late Friday and Saturday night hope to see you then!!!
