| Congrats to the B's.
I can't get too excited... before the Lightning series I could only name one player on the team, even though they were my favorite team growing up (I watched them get their ass kicked by the Oilers both times in the cup finals, and remember the famous fog game where the ice at Boston Garden was melting, then the power went out, the game was cancelled and replayed later).
It is hard not to be impressed with Tim Thomas. Punched a guy, nailed another in the face with the butt of his stick, two shut outs, three one goal games.

| I'm here to chime in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F-ing insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been watching closely and freaking out. I have way to much to say about it for the 30 seconds I have now, but...... trust me... I could talk for ages about the Bruins, Thomas, etc. Actually, I'd be happy to throw in a few cheap shots about Mary-Kate and Ashley Sedin. Give me a day. I'm supposed to be somewhere and decided I should check in because I've been MIA since my move to Vermont. In fact, my PS3 is still in Boston. If you see me on, it is actually my GF.
BTW, how could you really cheer for Vancouver? They are trying to ruin the sport. Not just the cheep shots and the whining (which are ridiculous and pathetic, respectively) but more importantly the blatant diving. This isn't soccer. (No offense to soccer fans, I actually enjoy soccer, but the diving is quite embarrassing). Of all sports, hockey is most notable for having pride and acting like a man. Someone screws with you, you need to make a stand. You need to stand up for your self or you will be a target. These Vancouver clowns never stood up to any fair fights (even got slapped around by a small goalie), took spineless cheap shots and got so bad with the diving that they accumulated several penalties for it in the series. Shameful.
More later. Apologies for the 30 second, stream of consciousness rant. Cheers. And yes, Boston has accomplished something that no other sports city has... we have won titles (in some cases more than one) in all four major sports in the past 7 years. Patriots have what 3 titile in less than ten years, Red Sox 2, Celtics and bruins each one. So yeah, it is a good time to be a Boston sports fan!!!!!!!!!
Hope you are all happy and healthy. Later! Dr. Buckwilder

| The finger chomping thing was hilarious when, next game, during a scuffle, a Bruin offered his finger to the Canuck.
All you need to know about Vancouver is that their fans rioted after losing. Again (Rangers in '94, too). Everyone knows rioting is for winners and G8 summits.
I don't have cable but managed to find a brilliant website where people post live streams of games (not just hockey), so I watched six of the games on my big screen, streaming via internet. Football season that should work, too.
