| Ok well i think it's been long enough since this topic has been discussed.
Has anybody stuck their neck out and bought one? If so what spec did you get? what you think?
Since i'm moving soon and i have seriously been thinking about getting one. But i'm not too sure on the specific specs and what they mean.
Most of the (Cheaper) 3D TV's have a Frame Rate of 100Hz or 200Hz. But some of the newer ones (2011 Models) have Frame Rates of 600Hz or even 800Hz. Will this make a big difference to give a smoother picture? and worth the bit extra money?

| I looked at them briefly but couldn't justify the expense. Close to $1000 for something I could manage ....plus the glasses. And that was the extent of my research. | |

| I don't think they'll catch on, so I don't have much of an interest in them. I think they're a fad. | |

| I think they'll catch on in a few years when a) prices are reasonable and b) you don't need to wear the glasses to see the 3D effect.
I remember buying a 54" lcd tv just 4 years ago for nearly £900 (and it was a good deal at the time), same one today is only about £450! | |
