| Below is a listing of all the badges that are authorized by the STP Clan Leader, MercuryRising, to display in your individual room and in your signature box. You must have been awarded a badge to wear it in your signature by the clan leader. (This is a work in progress and some awards after further discussion might have the requirements tweaked.) Badge | STP Badge Name | Actual Badge Name | Description/Criteria | | CIB | Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award | The Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB) is an award of the United States Army which is presented to those officers, warrant officers and enlisted soldiers, in the grade of Colonel and below, who participate in active ground combat while assigned as a member of an infantry or special forces unit, brigade or smaller size, during any period subsequent to 6 December 1941. It, and the simultaneously created Expert Infantryman Badge were created with the primary goal of recognizing the sacrifices of the infantrymen who were disproportionately likely to be killed or wounded during World War II. Criteria To earn this award, you have to play either COD4 or COD5 with the STP Clan for a time greater than 30 days. | | CIB 2nd Award | Combat Infantryman Badge 2nd Award | Criteria To earn this award, you have to play both COD4 and COD5 with the STP Clan for a time greater than 60 days and/or have already earned 10th prestige level 55 in COD4.

Badge | Badge Name | Actual Badge Name | Description/Criteria | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Airborne Badge | Parachutist Badge | The Army Parachutist Badge is awarded to all military personnel in any service who complete U.S. Army Airborne School, 3 weeks of training at Fort Benning, Georgia. It signifies that the soldier is a trained Army Parachutist, and is qualified to conduct airborne operations. Criteria This award is for the prior service members of STP. To display this award, you have to actually have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and completed Airborne School and earned your jump wings. This will be done on the honor system or you can prove it by photocopy of the certificate.
| | Air Assault Badge | Air Assault Badge | The Air Assault Badge, is awarded by the U.S. Army for successful completion of the Air Assault School, a two-week (ten-day) course. The course includes three phases of instruction involving U.S. Army rotary wing aircraft: combat air assault operations; rigging and slingload operations; and rappelling from a helicopter. Criteria This award is for the prior service members of STP. To display this award, you have to actually have served in the U.S. Army and completed Air Assault School and earned your wings. This will be done on the honor system or you can prove it by photocopy of the certificate.
| | Map Recon Specialist Badge | Pathfinder Badge | The Pathfinder Badge is a military badge of the U.S. Army awarded to soldiers who successfully complete the Pathfinder Course. To be awarded the Pathfinder Badge, the soldier must complete instruction in advanced land navigation, advanced scouting, tactical air traffic control in the field, and the control of parachute operations; the badge is awarded on completing a final examination under field training exercise (FTX) conditions. Criteria To earn this award, you have to make significant contributions in map recon in COD4 and/or COD5 either by posting maps in the STP Forums and/or going to maps in a private room, reconning and reporting back to the clan. This award is at the discretion of the Clan Leader of STP.
| | STP Rifle Expert Badge | USMC Rifle Expert Badge | A Marksmanship Badge is a military badge of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps which is presented to service members upon successful completion of a weapons qualification course. It is issued in the following three grades (highest first): Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman. Marine and Army recruits can not exit initial training until a qualification of at least Marksman has been obtained. (more information continued in next section...) Criteria To earn this badge, you have to have a confirmed kill/death ratio of 1.30 or higher with a minimum of 15,000 kills.
| | Expert Marksman Badge | Expert Marksman Badge | (continued from previous section...) The United States Army issues marksmanship badges for expert, sharpshooter and marksman qualifications. Suspended from it are component bars that indicate the specific weapons the soldier is qualified for. Only three marksmanship badges are authorized for wear at one time, and each may only have up to three component bars. Component bars are authorized in the following weapons (listed with exact inscription): Rifle, Pistol, AA Artillery (COD4), Auto Rifle, Machinegun, Field Artillery (COD5), Tank Weapons, Flamethrower, Submachine Gun, Rocket Launcher, Grenade, Carbine, or Bayonet.
Criteria To earn this badge and wear component bars, Clan Leader will check COD5 weapon statistics on the call of duty website. You have to obtained 1,500 kills with specific weapon in COD5 for expert. | | Skcit Expert Pistol Badge | USMC Pistol Expert Badge | Criteria To earn this badge, player must meet one of the following requirements: * have a kill/death ratio greater than 1.30 * through gaming countless hours with either the Clan Leader, XO, CSM, or 1SG, be deemed an expert with the pistol * or be a "Last Stand Legend"
| | Expert Machine Gun Badge | Expert Machine Gun Badge | Criteria To earn this badge Clan Leader will check COD5 weapon statistics on the call of duty website once a week. You have to obtained a combination 1,500 kills with Machine Gun class weapons in COD5 for expert. | | Expert Medic Badge | Medical Expert Badge | Criteria If you are currently working in the medical field (EMT or higher) or enrolled in medical school, you are authorized to display this badge.

You have to obtained 1,000 kills with specific weapon in COD5 for sharpshooter. | | Rifle Marksman Badge | USMC Rifle Marksman Badge | Criteria To earn this badge, you have to have a confirmed kill/death ratio of 1.00 or higher with a minimum of 15,000 kills.
| | Marksman Badge | Marksman Badge | Criteria To earn this badge and wear component bars, Clan Leader will check COD5 weapon statistics on the call of duty website. You have to obtained 500 kills with specific weapon in COD5 for marksman. | | Assault Combat Badge | BF2 Assault Combat Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you have to be known as a relentless attacker in the HQ, Capture the Flag, TDM, War game modes. CL,XO,CSM,1SG can nominate, Clan leader has final say.

| BF2 Veteran Ground Defense Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you have to be known as a relentless defender in the HQ (inside), Capture the Flag, TDM, War game modes. CL,XO,CSM,1SG can nominate, Clan leader has final say.
| | Knife Badge | BF2 Knife Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you have to have a reputation within the Clan as a slasher specialist in any game mode. CL,XO,CSM,1SG can nominate, Clan leader has final say. | | "Dr. Jay" Medic Badge | BF2 Medic Badge | Criteria To win this award, in COD5, you successfully revive members of your squad 5 times in one public match, witnessed by a 2LT or higher rank.
| | Sniper Badge | BF2 Sniper Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you have to be known and a dedicated sniper in any game mode. If you have Red Tiger on any two sniper rifles in COD4 or two completed bolt action sniper rifles in COD5, you can be nominated by CL, XO, CSM, 1SG or SqdLdr. Clan leader has final say.
| | Spec-Ops Combat Badge | BF2 Veteran Spec-Ops Combat Badge | Criteria This is the most prestigious of the BF2 badges. To earn this award, you have to have a kill/death ratio 1.50 or greater in either COD4 or COD5 with a minimum for 20,000 kills. Once you've met these requirements and have been awarded this badge, you can never lose it regardless if your stats drop below 1.50.
| | Combat Support Badge | BF2 Veteran Support Combat Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you must have a known track record and reputation for taking a support role during game play. (i.e.- medic revivals, turret gunner building / tank, heavy gunner shooting down helicopters in COD4, etc.) Nomination can be made by Squad Leader and above. XO has final say.
| | Tactical Support Weaponry Badge | BF2 Veteran Tactical Support Weaponry Badge | Criteria This is a forums award. To earn this badge, you must have a minimum of 400 post and are known for adding thoughtful content to the forums boards. This is awarded by the Clan Leader.
| | Claymore Specialist Badge | Claymore Specialist Badge | Criteria To earn this award, you have * obtain the rank of 4th Prestige and cleared the claymore challenge, and * pass a FTX (Field Training Exercise) conducted by the Clan Leader or XO with CSM and/or 1SG present.
| | Bouncing Betty Specialist Badge | N/A | Criteria To earn this award, you have to have a minimum of 1,000 bouncing betty kills in COD5. | | Grenade Specialist Badge | N/A | Criteria To earn this award, you either * obtain the rank of 4th prestige * are graded by your Squad Leader (or higher rank) or * are already established in the STP Clan by reputation. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
