Time Flies

Sup guys,

Hope everyone is doing alright. Just felt a little emotional tonight watching that Skcit video a few posts down haha. But man where has time gone? I joined this clan what 4 years ago now? I was still in middle school haha. I'm going into my senior year now and filling out college apps, writing essays, not really playing video games anymore. But I just wanted to let you all know that I miss the old days and hope to see everyone online once MW3 and BF3 come out. I feel like once I get into college my life is going to get a whole lot easier, meaning more time to play haha.

Anyways, keep in touch on the forums guys, I hate seeing how quiet it is around here now. I remember when we used to actually need mods to keep the forums under control!

And to be completely honest I'm quite surprised no one mentioned the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. RIP fallen heroes.

I remember when I first started playing, JP, I half joked, the smartest place for me was to stand behind you (I was terrible).

As for 9/11, I kept things pretty detached for that, though, I was driving home in the early Sunday morning, and NPR started playing stories from families who lost someone. That was tough to listen to.

It is a shame how quite it is around here and id love to go back to the days when there was too many of us to go on a 6 man team. I suppose clan members have had families and things change, i have more time now my little one is growing up but thats filled with time with my wife and playing about with photography.

All that said I do hope that MW3 gets people gaming again, if it does expect me to don my STP hat again

I second this, i really think MW3 is going to be good and i'm already looking forward to teaming uo for the new spec ops

I know I'll be logging some time. Winter will be here, Jeb will be old enough that I don't have to hold him all the time, and 12 year old will be at school so she can't tell on me for playing video games during the day.

Well, if I'm not careful, Nomani will make me get a 9-5 job. The other strategy is to make sure any cleaning I do is easily visible and recognizable.

i know everyone has been getting married and having kids, but i think it has been more of the quality of games that have the clan in decline. i like cod4 better than wow and mw2 better than both bo and wow, so maybe mw3 will be better than all (except cod4). whats up jp, where are you going to college? florida?

It was an epic gaming era for me; one I'll never forget.

And yes, life has intervened. While I settle into this new life, and while I save up for a PS3, I wonder what my expectations should be. If at very least I maintain the friendships I've made through this website, my next gen gaming experience was a success. If I can no longer muster the passion for late night frag fests, at least I'll burn out with a smile on my face. STP came, we conquered, and we continue to pay homage to those experiences. Thanks guys!
