Who is getting Black Ops Opening Night?

I know alot of people have said they are going to wait for reviews til they get it so i was wondering who i should look out for on opening night?

Plus who is getting is Midnight (if you can)?

I'm going with a compromise. I'll be renting it so I won't be getting to play it until the weekend after it's released. So to answer the original question... not me.

So far a lonely night for me then haha!!

I forgot to say this includes Luis who will somehow get the game 2 days before us haha

I'm considering, Martin. The inclusion of zombies means I'll probably get Black Ops over Medal of Honor, but that may change. However, we'll have our son by then, so who knows what my free time will look like.

Yeah if i want it i could get it a few days before it comes out probably the friday before their release date.

Thats the benefit i get from living in Newark about 10 blocks away from the ghetto and some really shady ass video game stores..lol

I didnt plan on getting it right away......BUT....Luis if you can hook me up again like MW2 from the same shady game store I will get it early.

Not me. I'll be waiting for reports on both COD and MoH before I put any money down.

Don i know i can get it early. I could have gotten Madden 11 that friday before the release date. But now u have to call them and reserve it cause too many people know about the store around here.

The customization feature is pretty cool, but I don't know that I'm going to get BO. If it has noob toobs and a ton of perks like MW2 I'm getting MoH instead.

A lot of others have said the little kids and the run'n'gun style COD is encouraging is turning a lot of people off of COD. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the 2nd to last COD game because the game is going to piss off so many people the next one after BO will flop and the franchise will die.

I agree with you Trip, I also feel the COD franchise is on the way out.

From the videos I've seen Black Ops looks packed with stuff like beng able to record your favorite kills, individual customizations and the wager matches but I've also noticed all the same crap that MW2 has which turned me off from the game.

IMO, it's going to be exactly the same all the perks, idiots with Lightweight on running around, BUT I'm willing to bet the house that there is no "one man army" perk to eliminate the continuous noob tubing.

I have very little interest in Black Ops multiplayer right now. I do want to play the single player campaign and the wager matches( I have to admit) they have me a little interested in playing it. I realize it's "multiplayer" in some form because your playing against other people but from the videos it seem like it would be less aggrevating cause everyone starts off with the same items.

That being said I'm still going to get the game. But if MOH is a good as the videos make it look I won't be playing Black Ops long.
