Zombies + Weekend of Double-XP for All!

In celebration of the outstanding online success of Call of Duty: World at War, we are pleased to present the community with two gifts this weekend!

First, because of the huge popularity of the Nazi Zombies game mode, we're unlocking the Nazi Zombies Co-Op playlist for Xbox LIVE and PSN public games. Even if you haven't completed the Solo campaign, you can now play Nazi Zombies online right away!

Second, this is a Double-XP MP weekend. Everyone will be eligible for Double-XP starting Friday, January 16, 2009 @ 10:00AM PST!

This update also includes "hot fixes" for a number of competitive multiplayer issues that have been reported. Stay tuned to the forums for news about the upcoming full patch/title update.

And this just in from the forums from someone playing.....

"The elevator at cliifside was not fixed but under roundhouse was fixed, under castle was fixed. under cliffside was fixed. I think all the wall glitches are fixed. Makin rock is fixed."


It's about friggin' time but what are all those little cheating #$%^s going to do when they have to stand up and fight? I can see ownage with double XP

what is the cliffside elevator?

It's where you magically elevate up above the rocks on the far end of the map.

Finally, I'll probably try COD5 this weekend. I'm glad they fixed the issues. To bad the cheaters could be perma froze and trapped under the map with no ammo. Little bitchtards.

The existing glitches like above and floaters on castle, at least can be killed easily, you just have to keep an eye up in the sky. They can be killed and they learn really quickly that once targeted they don't last long and don't try it again.
